Louis Henry Tominack, 82, of Indian Head, MD passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.
He was born July 15, 1934, in Windsor Heights, WV. He was the son of the late Louis Tominack and Mala Tominack.
He was preceded death by his wife, Rosemarie Tominack (12/6/16), his brothers Ivan Tominack, Joseph Tominack; and his sisters Helen Tominack and Frances Rodocker.
Louis was a longtime member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Indian Head, MD. He was a meteorologist for the USAF and a supervisor for the Naval Ordnance Station until his retirement in 1990. He was a strong, kind, caring and compassionate man who lived for God and his family.
Surviving are his daughter, Michele Tuminello (Michael) of Abingdon, MD; sons, Louis Tominack (Anna) of Athens, AL, and David Tominack of Indian Head, MD; sister Virginia Guzzetta of Weirton, WV and grandchildren Sarah and Andrew Tominack and Tony and Marisa Tuminello.
There will not be a viewing but funeral services will be on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Indian Head, MD immediately followed by Internment at St. Charles Cemetery, Indian Head, MD. A repast will be held at 1:30 PM at St. Mary Star of the Sea church hall.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Leukemia Society or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
