Hope Virginia Vayro

September 24, 1919 ~ November 1, 2017 (age 98) 98 Years Old

Hope Virginia Vayro, 98 of Bryans Road, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.  She is survived by her son, Thomas, his wife, Janet of Bryans Road; grandson Casey Vayro, his wife Jackie, and great grandchildren Jaxson, Ethan and Ella of Indian Head, and grandson Perry Mullins, his wife Sarah, and great grandson Lucas of McKinney, Texas.  Hope was preceded in death by her husband Harry P. Vayro, who passed away in 1977 and their daughter Holly Mullins, who passed away on September 15, 2017 in Plano Texas.  She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Amber Mullins and her son-in-law Jon Mullins, both from Plano, Texas.  

Hope was born on September 24, 1919 in Providence, Rhode Island.  She moved from Rhode Island to Indian Head with her husband.  Hope worked for a number of years at the Ely’s Department Store previously in Indian Head as a store clerk in the men’s department.   

She was best known for her love of her family and friends.  Hope was also known for always sending cards to family and friends for all occasions which we will all miss receiving.  She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Mother in Law and Friend to all who knew her and we are blessed to have known her.  Our special Angel is at peace but will always be remembered for her strength and love that she gave to all those who knew her.

Funeral services will be held in Providence, Rhode Island with a private family service to be officiated by her grandson, Episcopal Priest Father Perry Mullins.  If you would like to make donations in Hope’s memory please send to St. James Episcopal Church in Indian Head, MD.
