Life-long memories of Gilbert are those of a great neighbor and friend to all along Poplar Lane. He was always helpful and was able to smile through difficult situations. His presence will be missed as he worked to keep the corner of the neighborhood clean and well manicured. He was a great friend to our parents and continued to be around to check on the property across the lane.

FlAshback remembrance on my childhood. Every summer I would spend time with my father's cousin Gilbert and his family. Gilbert always treated me as if I was his child. Gilbert was was such a loving person and will be truly missed.
