George William Davis, 92 of Indian Head, Maryland died November 6, 2017 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. He was born on June 27, 1925 in Six Mile Run, Pennsylvania.
George was preceded in death by his parents Shannon Oliver Davis and Clarice Jane Snyder Davis and his sister Mary Jane Bollman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Faye May Davis. They were married on October 20, 1944. He is also survived by his daughter Cynthia Imler (Harry),grandchildren Stacy Reedal (Michael), Troy Imler (Gwyndolyn), great grandchildren Hunter, William, Wyatt and Scarlett and his sister Ruth Louise Abell.
George served as a SGT in the Army/AirForce from 1943 to 1945 and was a Mechanic for the United States Government.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 10 AM until time of service at 12 noon at the Marbury Church of God. Interment at Park Hill Cemetery, Marbury, Maryland.
