Donald E. Davis

Donald E. Davis, 77 of Nanjemoy, MD was born on October 18, 1942 and passed away at his home surrounded by family on November 15, 2019.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Grover C. Davis and Lillian G. (Posey) Davis, his sisters Dorothy DuMas (George) and Helen Hamor (Hoyt, Sr.).

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Kathy (Bowie) Davis, children Cindy (Davis) Thomas, Mandy (Davis) Diley (Steve) and Donnie Davis (April) and his “sister” Dolores (DuMas) Bulles (Andy).

He was a proud Grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.  He was an uncle and great uncle to many.

He was one in a long line of Commercial Watermen.  He was a member of the Nanjemoy Baptist Church for 66 years and he was a strong believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Nanjemoy Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Interment Church cemetery.

Pallbearers are Donnie Davis, Joseph Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Ethan Davis, Clint Davis, Cole Davis and David Gilroy.  Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Diley, Charley Hobbs, Jeff Grover and Marty Dudley.
