Daniel "Danny" Stephen McCoy, Jr.

Daniel Stephen “Danny” McCoy, Jr., 44, of LaPlata, Maryland died on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Kansas.  Danny was born on March 31, 1973 in LaPlata, Maryland.  Daniel had recently achieved his goal of becoming a truck driver and was excited to pick out his (green) truck.

Danny was the beloved father of Madeline and Andrew (Megan) McCoy and brother of Kevin (Teree) McCoy.  Danny is also survived by his father Daniel Stephen McCoy, Sr. and his wife, Lois McCoy and many other friends and family.  He was preceded in death by his mother Nora Madeline Bowie McCoy and his grandparents, James and Nina “Ruby” McCoy, and William and Mattie Bowie.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 11 AM until time of service at 12 noon.  Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Mayrland.  A repast will be held after interment at Scotts II, 7070 Port Tobacco Road, Welcome, MD 20693. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County or Puppies Behind Bars.
