Curtis Wayne Rickett

Curtis Wayne Rickett, 39 of Accokeek, Maryland died February 28, 2019 in LaPlata, Maryland.  

He was born on August 8, 1979 in Clinton, Maryland.  He was the son of Cecil and Judy (Wynn) Rickett.  He is survived by his wife Nicole (McDonough), children Alyssa, Haley, Matthew and Lily, and her mom Chrisie Harvey.  He is also survived by his siblings Eddie (Natalie), Ken (Terri), Melissa (Robert), numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother Matthew.  

He loved his children very much.  He enjoyed music, playing his guitar, fishing and the Washington Redskins.  At one time he was a member of the local Steamfitters union.  A trust fund for his children is being set up and contributions can be made to Judith Rickett in his memory.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Accokeek First Church of God at 1 PM.
