Carmen Stinnett

Carmen Stinnett, 91 of Ripley passed peacefully into our Lord’s hands on May 5, 2018.

She was born on August 25, 1926 in Ripley, MD.  She was the daughter of the late Julian Johnson and the late Ida Johnson.  Was married to the late Thomas A. Stinnett.

In addition to her parents and husband she was proceeded in death by her brothers, Julian, Douglas, Earl, and John Johnson; and sisters Lucille Bond, Frances Tilch, and Dorothy Gilroy and her son Thomas Stinnett.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Stinnett Coelho, and son Ernest (Peggy) Stinnett and daughter-in-law Teresa Stinnett.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Holly, Angie, Anna (Brett), Thomas, Jason, Jamie, Tony (Heather) and Brandon and great-grandchildren, Michael, Seth, Eliza, Ezra, and Thomas.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 11 AM until 1 PM.  Funeral services will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, Indian Head, MD on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2 PM.  Interment Mount Rest Cemetery, LaPlata, MD.
