On December 25, 2017, the Lord, in his infinite wisdom called his daughter home. Shakida Marie Cunningham was born to Alicia M. Cunningham and Lonnie A. Gooding, Jr. on July 18, 1987 in Washington, DC. In 1987 Shakida went on to live with Rev. Francis J. and Diane V. Ford and after a short time in 1992 she was adopted into the Ford’s family and her name was legally changed to Shakida Diamonique Ford.
She accepted the Lord as her personal savior, and was a member of Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Nanjemoy, MD. She attended Prince George's County Public Schools, and was employed by Outback Steakhouse, Largo, MD. She was also an active participant with the Beacon House Family of Washington, DC where her children are active participants in various sporting events.
