Michael "Mike" Matthew Tyeryar

Michael Matthew Tyeryar, 44, of Nanjemoy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 10, 2018.  He was born August 17, 1973 in LaPlata, Maryland.  He was the son of Linda and Calvin Wright.

He was an avid member of Nanjemoy Baptist Church, where he was a royal ambassador and a member of the churches undefeated baseball team.  He also joined Nanjemoy Volunteer Fire Department at the age of 16, because he had a passion for helping others.  He graduated from Lackey High School in 1991.  He loved to spend time fishing out on his boat, and spending time with his family.  He was a small business owner, and also worked with his dad at Wrights towing.   He spent a lot of his life doing what he loved most, working as a carpenter.

He is survived by his parents; Calvin and Linda Wright, his brother Calvin Edward Wright ll; his sisters Rachel Nicole Tyeryar and Stephanie LaShawn Chase; brother-in-law Damon Summers; his nieces Mya and Kali Summers; cousin Theresa Kay Tyeryar, and many more.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10 AM until time of funeral services at 12 noon.  Internment Nanjemoy Baptist Church Cemetery.
