Inez “Ethel” Elizabeth Hergett, 87, of Bryans Road, Maryland, beloved wife of the late William A. Hergett, died on October 21, 2017, in LaPlata, MD.
Ethel was born on May 24, 1930 in LaJunta, Colorado. She was also preceded in death by her parents Walter Vanbeber and Ethel Radcliffe Vanbeber; siblings William Vanbeber and Helen Paulson.
She is survived by her children Terry Bullard, Ronald Hergett, William B. Hergett, John Hergett, Kathy Beadle, Margaret Phillips, Cindy Hergett, Linda Habicht and Barbara Hergett and grandchildren Shawn, Pamela, Joseph, Megan, Samantha, Tiffany, Brian, Danielle, Ayanna, Georgie, and Johnny.
Ethel loved her family especially when her home was filled with them. She loved playing bingo. She fostered many children.
Viewing will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 4 PM until funeral service at 6 PM. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham , Maryland on Thursday October 26, 2017 at 10:15 AM.
